Anthropic expands partnership with Cognizant to scale AI enterprise adoption

Anthropic has announced an expanded partnership with Cognizant, a major global technology services provider, to accelerate the integration of Claude AI across enterprise operations.

Cognizant already uses Claude in systems developed for clients across manufacturing, life sciences, insurance, and other sectors. The expansion builds on this foundation by embedding Claude into Cognizant's internal platforms, growing its trained workforce, and establishing it as a Global Premier Partner in the Claude Partner Network.

Internal integration and workforce development

More than 30,000 Cognizant employees have completed Claude training. The company is incorporating Claude into several platforms, including Flowsource, its full-stack engineering platform, as well as Neuro AI Engineering and Neuro IT Ops. Flowsource now uses Claude Code to assist engineers, with the system following project specifications and coding standards before evaluating outputs for production readiness.

Real-world client applications

Cognizant has already deployed Claude solutions for clients with measurable results:

• A customer experience portal built for a global manufacturer within six months of project initiation
• An intelligent contract review system for a biopharmaceutical company that reduced contract review time by up to 40 percent while achieving extraction accuracy above 88 percent
• A risk assessment tool that streamlined underwriter account evaluation from hours of manual research to minutes, saving each user approximately eight hours weekly

Ravi Kumar S, Cognizant's Chief Executive Officer, emphasized the partnership's significance, stating that enterprises need AI they can operationalize rather than merely experiment with. Anthropic's co-founder Daniela Amodei noted that Cognizant is deploying Claude across demanding industries where the technology can deliver practical business value.
